SAS – Association to Support Foreign Students in Germany

The Association to Support Foreign Students in Germany –SAS– was founded in 2015 to promote science, education, and developmental aid by supporting the education and training of foreign students and young academics in Germany. This support is ensured by financial grants as well study-related consultation and guidance.

The purpose of our association is to support the education of young people from abroad who have talents and personalities from which Germany as well as their native countries might benefit in the future.

This educational support is in particular achieved by the provision of one-time grants and scholarships as well as a study-related advisory service for economically dependent students and young academics from abroad. The necessary funds get raised via the financial income of the association as well as from donations.

Sponsors have the opportunity to specifically choose the use of their donations. They can easily get in contact with the chair of the association by email.

Students and young scientists are able to apply with an informal motivational letter and a CV including an academic transcript.

Who are we?

We are a non-profit association with headquarter in Cologne, Germany. The non-profit status according to § 60 Abs. 1 AO was approved on December 16, 2015 through the tax office Köln-Altstadt.
